Power University offers a variety of programs in order to ensure that our students are able to become positive visionaries and influential leaders, unafraid to invoke change.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
MINISTERIAL LICENSE
A ministerial license will be granted with the following conditions:
The candidate can show documentation of an ongoing involvement in a Christian ministry. This involvement must have been
ongoing for a period of at least three years at the time of application.
The candidate must
provide three (3) letters of recommendation. One of these letters should be from the pastor or overseer. Note: If you are a pastor, this letter should be from a person to whom you hold yourself accountable.
The candidate must successfully complete the Diploma course from Power Institute Of Leadership and attend to at least one Power Leadership Training Conference.
If the candidate can show reason, why one or more of these conditions may be waived, we will take that reason into consideration for reassessment and reevaluation.
ORDINATION
A certificate of ordination will be granted with the following conditions:
The candidate must show documentation of an ongoing involvement in a Christian ministry.
The candidate must be in possession of a ministerial license granted from a reputable source.
The ministerial license and/or ordination must have been held for a minimum of five years.
The candidate must provide three (3) letters of recommendation. One of these letters should be from
the pastor or overseer. Note: If you are a pastor, this letter should be from a person to whom you hold
yourself accountable.
The candidate must successfully complete the Diploma course from Power Institute of Leadership and
attend to at least one Power Leadership Training Conference.
If the candidate can show reason, one or more of these conditions may be waived.
TRANSFER OF CREDITS
Ministry Experience is so valuable. The lessons you have learned in life are honored and translated into credits. Instead of learning something you already know, you can learn something new. Send us all your accomplishments and certificates such as Ministries you have done, Mission trips conducted or participated, Books Authored, Taught in any Schools etc.. We will evaluate and let you know how many credits can be transferred towards your curriculum.
This will speed up your studies and can earn the certificates faster. But no diplomas or degrees can be awarded based upon life-experience alone. All applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED before enrolling in one of our academic programs. We are an Interdenominational Christian Leadership Institute with the mission of training and equipping the Pastors and Christian Lay leaders of any Age, Race, Color, national and ethnic origin, with a biblical and practical education empowering them to apply and proclaim the word of God and to be effective in the Ministry.

PU Educational Affiliate Network offers special elite partnerships to Schools who have Bachelors to Masters Degrees, and would like to incorporate Masters to Doctorate Degrees; Bible Institutes with validating work and Degrees; Churches and Ministries in assisting with programs that need Credits, Certifications and or Degrees.
CHAPLAINCY
PU’s Chaplaincy Training Program is designed to train you for specific situations and environments for an area that is in much demand. You will have the professional ability required in meeting the demands for this type of occupation; whether your placement is in hospitals, hospice, military, prisons or a variety of other placements.
PU offers a comprehensive online and residential also program which gives you the flexibility to work at your own pace. PU Chaplaincy Program consists of three sections essential to effective chaplaincy training – Pastoral Care, Counseling and Crisis Management. PU offers three degrees in Chaplancy – B.S in Chaplaincy; M.S in Chaplaincy and D.Min in Chaplancy. Obtaining PU’s professional training gives you the ability to minister to others dealing with crisis situations. Upon completion, you will be certified and licensed through PU.
